Pewter Loving Cup
Traditionally loving cups were two-handled metal cups used at weddings, banquets and other events. The loving cup was shared by the event attendees for the purposes of ceremonial drinking.
In more modern times, the loving cup has been adopted for use as a trophy for winners of games and other competition events. Whichever purpose you may choose for your pewter loving cup, it is sure to be a cherished favorite in your household.
We like to monogram the Loving Cup with a traditional "married monogram" (Wife's first name initial in left flank position, Married last name in center, Husband's first name initial in right flank position). You can also add a wedding date underneath or on the back side. It's a perfect sentimental wedding gift!
